RPM2 Project - Multimedia, Multi-documents and Multi-opinions Summarization

The RPM2 project aims to develop multi-documents summarization methods for text, audio and video media as well as for multimedia contexts.

It is designed by 5 partners with complementary skills: the company Sinequa (textual and semantic information management), the Eurecom institute (image and video), the laboratory Laboratoire Informatique d'Avignon (audio and text), Wikio (virtual communities) and the private research laboratorySyllabs.

The industrial, scientific and economic stakes are huge insofar as information management is more and more a problem in our society.
The project promotes Web 2.0 aspects, multimedia information management, the generation of new documents from an existing flow, collections of contents having an editorial coherence and a multimodal approach of indexing.
